Director of Hairticians Hair & Beauty Salon
With nearly 15 years of experience at the helm of Hairticians, Kadian has established herself as a leader in Hairdressing. Known for her exceptional skill and artistry, and her impeccable sense of humour and people skills, she has a special passion for Afro hair care, and her dedication to celebrating natural textures and individual beauty has made Hairticians a trusted destination for clients throughout the community. Kadian brings both technical mastery and a warm, personalized approach to her work. Her deep understanding of Afro-textured hair, paired with her expertise in a range of styles from braiding to innovative cutting and treatments, ensures every client leaves feeling confident and cared for. Over the years, she has carefully cultivated a team that shares her commitment to excellence, creating an inclusive environment where clients of all hair types can feel seen, valued, and pampered.

Lead Stylist
Layla is a passionate stylist with a keen eye for detail and a love for all things hair. Sally
Owner/Senior Hair Stylist
How would we manage without Sally?! Co-owning the salon with her husband Philip, Sally embarked on a new career as a hairdresser in her 40s, transitioning from accountancy. The diversity of her role—running a business, practicing hairdressing, and meeting new people—brings her immense joy. During the last 10 years she has successfully navigated through Covid interruptions and brought the salon to new premises last October. Sally designed the layout along with our artist in residence Anne. This has proved to be a fortuitous opportunity for the business which has gone from strength to strength. Sally has built an incredible team and between us we have over 100 years experience in the industry. With our united and friendly crew Salon 123 has grown into the successful, reputable business it is today.
Sally can be found in salon on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and every other Saturday.
Emma Louise
Director
Emma Louise brings 33 years of salon experience to our team, specializing in advanced techniques including cutting, colouring and hair extensions with expertise from industry leaders. With a career that spans three decades of teaching and mentoring, along with successfully managing her own salon and hair loss clinic, Emma Louise is a force to be reckoned with. She loves the vibe of a friendly High Street Salon which is why she joined our team. She only does two days so appointments are very sought after. With her educational experience our junior stylists are in great hands with in-house training on hand. Emma Louise’s artistic talents have also taken her to film sets, where she creates stunning looks. The curious among you can see her work in the latest production of Wicked. Her dedication and innovation make her an invaluable leader for our team.
Emma Louise is in Salon on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Joe
Senior Hair Stylist & Barber
Joe is an exceptional barber and hairstylist with over 20 years’ experience in the industry working in local salons. If you are stuck for ideas about your hair Joe is your man. He will advise on colours, cuts and face framing to get the most from your style. His barbering skills are second to none and if you are looking for a fade or a pattern he will be happy to incorporate that into your cut. Known for his kind, gentle nature and great sense of humour, Joe creates a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere for his clients. When he's not styling hair, you'll often hear him chatting about his beloved cat, Fluffy, who is his pride and joy. His warm personality and quirky style make him a fantastic addition to our team, it’s fun all the way with Joe!

Lisa
Senior Hair Stylist
With over 30 years in hairdressing, Lisa has mastered cuts, cap highlights and perms, delivering excellent results for every client. When booking with Lisa you know she will create a personalised look to highlight your unique beauty. Beginning in a small salon, she built her reputation through precision cutting and exceptional care. Trained in classic techniques you know you are in safe hands with Lisa. Along with her advanced training, Lisa stays current with trends while maintaining experienced mastery. Her calm approach creates a relaxing atmosphere, many of her clients have been with her for decades. She ensures every style is both beautiful and manageable.
You can find Lisa in the salon every Tuesday and one Saturday a month—book early as she's always in high demand!
Maxine
Senior Hair Stylist
Joining us in spring 2025, Maxine brings over 30 years of industry experience and a passion for hairdressing. She's skilled in all aspects of hair styling but particularly loves colouring, staying current with the latest trends and techniques. Originally from Hemel Hempstead, she recently moved to the countryside where she enjoys rural tranquillity. Her warm nature and extensive experience make her a valuable team member.
Whether you need a fresh colour, new cut, or hair care advice, book with Maxine to achieve your hair goals! Maxine works Monday to Friday and Tuesday to Saturday on alternate weeks.
Lyndsey
Senior Hair Stylist
Our curly hair specialist Lyndsey rejoined our team after taking time away for maternity leave. She balances her role with being a full-time mother to four children, and we feel fortunate to have her with us. A true creative spirit, Lyndsey is passionate about her work with curly hair, being a curly girl herself she has a deep understanding and knowledge of all curl shapes and sizes, this expertise makes her a unique asset to our salon.
You can find Lyndsey showcasing her talents in the salon every other Saturday.
Ryan
Supported Graduate Stylist
After completing a marketing degree at Chichester University where he served as LGBTQ+ Student Officer, Ryan now balances his primary railway career with his passion for hairdressing. Qualifying in 2023, he joined our team to expand his experience and has quickly become popular with clients. Ryan specializes in vibrant colours using the Elumen range and recently qualified as an Elumen master colourist. His background ensures all clients feel welcomed, aligning with our inclusive salon ethos.
Find Ryan with us typically on Saturdays, but occasionally on weekdays too!
Lexi
Undergraduate Hair Stylist
Having nearly finished her apprenticeship, Lexi brings valuable experience from the training environment and work in the salon. During her training she has developed exceptional skills and learned from industry experts. She particularly enjoys colouring and has comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of hairdressing. Her love for advanced colouring techniques shines through in her work in salon. We're excited to watch her continued growth and contribution to our team with her talent and dedication, and look forward to promoting her to a junior stylist later this year. Lexi continues training on Mondays during term time and is available for appointments Wednesday through Saturday.
Olivia
Senior Beauty Therapist
With us since December 2016, Olivia is our Senior Beauty Therapist specializing in Skinbase Microdermabrasion Facials and Tropic Skincare. When she isn’t busy doing facials, you can find her at our nail desk doing gel and Build in a Bottle manicures and pedicures. She's our exclusive specialist for Lipo Sculpt treatments, a non-invasive inch loss treatment available in salon. Olivia's talent has built a devoted client base, and she generously shares her knowledge and personalized advice with everyone she treats. She is also an expert with both waxing and threading hair removal.

Lanna
Junior Beauty Therapist
Joining Salon 123 in Summer 2024, Lanna brings fresh perspective and contemporary techniques from her recent studies. As well as doing gel manicures and pedicures, she also excels in skincare, brow and lash work, and facial treatments. These skills along with her passion for enhancing natural beauty, make her a great value choice for all your beauty treatments. Known for her attention to detail and warm approach, Lanna provides friendly, personalized care to every client.
Lanna is available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Friday afternoons and Saturday mornings.
Anne
Volunteer Artist in Residence
Known as "the lady with the pink hair," Anne is our artist in residence volunteer who helps with reception duties while using her creativity to beautify our salon. First joining us as a client in 2021, Anne has become a familiar face, always accompanied by her little dog Daisy. Her artistic talents and organizational skills make her an invaluable part of our team, helping to maintain our welcoming salon atmosphere while showcasing her creative flair through various decorative projects.
